Hairspray is getting a high-tech makeover.
Known for its bond-building haircare, Olaplex has entered the styling market with Shape Set Hairspray, a new formula designed to provide strong, flexible hold while helping protect and strengthen hair.
The spray uses Olaplex’s Bond Set Technology, featuring an encapsulated peptide designed to help reconnect broken disulfide bonds within the hair. The brand says it can reduce breakage by 60% after one use.
Unlike traditional hairsprays that can leave hair stiff or crunchy, Shape Set uses flexible polymers to keep styles in place while maintaining movement and softness.
The fast-drying mist promises up to 96 hours of hold and frizz control, as well as heat protection up to 232°C (450°F). It also contains moisture-boosting and shine-enhancing ingredients, along with UV protection.
The formula is vegan, colour-safe, keratin-safe and extension-safe, making it suitable for a wide range of hair types and textures.
Shape Set Hairspray is available from £15 in the UK and is designed for both professional and everyday styling.
