Kanye West, now known as Ye, has returned to the fashion spotlight with his first Yeezy fashion show in four years, unveiling the brand’s latest collection in Los Angeles on Wednesday, 4 November 2026.
The presentation, titled Yeezy Season 01, took place at the new Yeezy Flagship Droam 1 location and attracted several high-profile guests, including 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, A$AP Nast, Jerry Lorenzo and the Clermont Twins.
Ye’s daughter, North West, and his wife, Bianca Censori, also attended the event.
Unlike traditional fashion shows, the presentation featured models walking in circles around a large white hill rather than along a conventional runway. The collection featured largely minimal and monochromatic outfits, with rapper Nettspend among the models.
The show, which was streamed on Kick by Neon, also featured what appeared to be several unreleased Ye tracks, giving attendees a preview of potentially upcoming music.
The return comes as Yeezy gradually rebuilds its presence in the fashion industry. In August, Women’s Wear Daily reported that the brand had partnered with JD Sports to release the Yeezy 800 sneaker during the 2026 holiday season. Yeezy products have also continued to feature on the brand’s official website.
Ye’s last major Yeezy fashion presentation took place in Paris in 2022. That show attracted widespread criticism after the rapper wore a T-shirt featuring the controversial slogan “White Lives Matter”.
Adidas subsequently ended its partnership with Ye in October 2022, following a series of antisemitic remarks and controversies. Gap had also severed its relationship with the rapper the previous month.
Throughout 2026, Ye has made efforts to address the controversies surrounding him, including publishing a full-page apology in The Wall Street Journal in which he addressed his antisemitic remarks and discussed the impact of bipolar disorder on his life.
The latest fashion show signals another attempt to bring Yeezy back into the public conversation, although questions remain about the brand’s long-term commercial future.
