Beauty brand Obart has introduced a fragrance primer designed to help perfumes last longer while also caring for the skin.
Developed over three years with K-beauty specialists, the P3 primer uses what Obart calls Scent Mesh Technology. The technology creates an invisible film on the skin that helps anchor fragrance and slow down evaporation.
According to the brand, clinical testing found that the primer could extend fragrance wear by up to eight hours, while scent intensity was reportedly three times stronger after 12 hours compared with fragrance alone.
The fragrance-free primer is designed to work underneath any perfume without changing its scent. Obart says it can also help fragrance notes develop more gradually, allowing the top, heart and base notes to unfold as intended.
P3 also functions as a skincare product, containing glycerin and hyaluronic acid for hydration, alongside panthenol, centella asiatica and niacinamide to support the skin barrier.
Users simply apply the primer to pulse points, allow it to absorb for a few seconds and then spray their preferred fragrance as usual.

Obart also offers eight unisex eaux de parfum, made in France in collaboration with perfumers at Firmenich. Its products carry the Clean at Sephora seal and are formulated without ingredients on Sephora’s excluded list, including phthalates, parabens and sulfates.
The primer is currently available exclusively through Sephora in the UK and US, with prices starting at £19 (about R430) or $24 (about R410), depending on the market.
