Norwegian Cruise Line Upgrades Jade and Gem with New Adults-Only Spaces and Luxury Spa Experiences

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled a series of upgrades to its ships, Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Gem, introducing new wellness facilities and adults-only relaxation areas ahead of the 2026 travel season.

Among the biggest additions is the debut of the Vibe Beach Club, an exclusive adults-only retreat featuring private cabanas, premium loungers, hot tubs and a full-service bar, giving guests a quieter space to unwind at sea.

The cruise line has also expanded the Mandara Spa & Salon, with redesigned Thermal Suites that now include charcoal saunas, salt rooms, ice rooms and upgraded relaxation areas. New wellness experiences, including experiential showers, plunge pools and hydrotherapy facilities, have also been added across the two ships.

Coffee lovers will also benefit from the changes, with Norwegian Jade now featuring a licensed Starbucks outlet, allowing guests to enjoy their favourite beverages throughout their voyage.

The enhancements come as the cruise line prepares for a busy travel season. During the northern summer, Norwegian Jade will sail through Alaska, visiting destinations such as Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, while Norwegian Gem will cruise the Mediterranean and Greek Islands, stopping in Italy, Croatia, France and Greece.

Later in the year, Norwegian Gem will reposition to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, while Norwegian Jade heads to Asia for a new series of itineraries.

The latest upgrades form part of Norwegian Cruise Line’s ongoing investment in enhancing onboard experiences and expanding premium amenities across its fleet.
