Fresh from her 2026 South African Music Awards (SAMA32) win, R&B star lordkez is keeping the momentum going with her latest single, “4SHO,” featuring South African hip-hop heavyweight Kwesta.
Released on 21 August 2026, the track follows lordkez’s win for Best R&B/Soul Album and the continued success of her breakout hit “Aweh.”
From ‘Aweh’ to ‘4SHO’
“Aweh” dominated South African radio between September and December 2025, becoming the most-played song across the country’s radio stations during that period. The track has since achieved Gold certification, while the “Aweh [Remix]” featuring Cassper Nyovest has reached Double Platinum status.
Following her acclaimed COLORS performance of “Wena Fela”, lordkez is now entering her next chapter with “4SHO”.
The summer-ready track brings together lordkez’s contemporary R&B sound with Kwesta’s distinctive hip-hop style, creating a collaboration that bridges generations of South African music.
Describing her sound as “Neo Nostalgia”, lordkez blends the warmth of classic R&B with contemporary African influences and modern songwriting.
“4SHO” continues that approach while showcasing her growing confidence as one of South Africa’s emerging R&B voices.
The collaboration with Kwesta also marks a meeting between an established hip-hop heavyweight and an artist rapidly building her own international profile.
The “4SHO” official music video is set to drop on 26 August, with the single available across digital platforms.
