Marks & Spencer has unveiled a completely revamped version of its long-running Formula skincare range, introducing a new collection designed to target multiple signs of ageing with advanced active ingredients.
The 16-piece skincare line replaces the previous Formula range, shifting the focus from single hero ingredients to multi-action formulas that combine peptides, biomimetic proteins, NAD+ boosters and skin barrier-repairing ingredients.
The relaunch follows consumer research involving 532 women aged between 25 and 55, which found that concerns such as fine lines, dryness, uneven skin texture and loss of firmness often appear at the same time. The new range has been developed to address several skin concerns in one routine rather than treating them individually.
Leading the collection is the Ultra Peptide range, featuring four peptide technologies alongside an NAD+ booster designed to support collagen production, cell energy and skin repair.
One of the standout products is the Ultra Peptide Serum, which combines peptides with ceramides, niacinamide and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. In a four-week consumer trial involving 110 participants, 92% said their skin felt more hydrated, while 89% noticed an improvement in visible signs of ageing.
The collection also includes an eye cream to reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles, lightweight day and night creams formulated with hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, as well as a neck and décolletage cream designed to improve skin firmness.
Beyond the peptide-focused products, the range includes cleansers, toners and facial oils formulated with ingredients including vitamin C, next-generation retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and multi-molecular hyaluronic acid to brighten, hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier.
The new Formula skincare collection launches online and in Marks & Spencer stores on 6 August and will be available exclusively in the United Kingdom.
