AirBurn Sounds is bringing together Mellow & Sleazy, Predope The Vocalist, CPT Switch and A.M.U.X for a new Amapiano single, “Ubani Lo?”
The track, released through Airburn360, is set to arrive on 18 September 2026, marking the first major taste of AirBurn Sounds’ upcoming full-length project.
Built around a playful story of attraction and curiosity, “Ubani Lo?” combines smooth grooves, energetic percussion and the dancefloor-driven sound associated with modern Amapiano. The title translates to “Who is this?” in isiZulu.
The collaboration also continues AirBurn Sounds’ creative relationship with Mellow & Sleazy, following previous work between the artists.
The release will be followed by the debut of AirBurn Thursdays (Live Mix) at Ko-9 in Alexandra on 24 September. The event will give audiences a live introduction to the new track and celebrate the next chapter of AirBurn Sounds’ musical journey.
Alexandra holds personal significance for the artist, who spent part of his life in the township. Alongside his upbringing in Ebony Park and his Limpopo roots, these experiences have influenced his approach to Amapiano and township culture.
“Ubani Lo?” is expected to lead into a larger rollout ahead of AirBurn Sounds’ forthcoming project.
