Tebogo Ramokgadi is giving his signature smile a refresh as he prepares for the second season of his reality show, Diamond and Dolls.
The executive producer and television personality recently travelled to Dubai for a professional polishing treatment, reportedly costing about R18,000. The treatment follows his previous investment of around R100,000 in his smile.
For Ramokgadi, however, the trip is not simply about appearance. September marks National Oral Health Month, putting renewed focus on the importance of looking after teeth and gums.
“I believe your smile says a lot about you. For me, it is about confidence, presentation and taking care of myself,” Ramokgadi said.
He stressed that cosmetic dental work should not replace basic oral care, including regular brushing, flossing and dental check-ups.
“Luxury treatment is one thing; the everyday routine is what really matters,” he said.
Ramokgadi also clarified that despite people commonly referring to cosmetic dental work as a “Hollywood smile”, his smile consists of his own teeth.
Beyond his dental journey, the television personality is preparing for the return of Diamond and Dolls. He says the second season will introduce new personalities and experiences while expanding on themes including fashion, travel, business, relationships and lifestyle.
“Season 2 is bigger, more elevated and more intentional,” he said.
Ramokgadi is also planning further entertainment projects and international travel, with Bangkok among his upcoming destinations.
As he enters another phase of his career, his message during Oral Health Month is straightforward: looking after a smile should start with health, not just appearance.
